Gale first trained and apprenticed in England as a production potter. Her early production work was strongly influenced by both English and French farmhouse ware.
Now living in British Columbia, Canada, Gale continues to produce highly functional domestic work.
Since her time in Canada, the focus of Gale’s work has been mainly large and small scale sculptural pieces based upon the forms and textures she encounters at home and when travelling.
In addition to her work in clay, Gale creates mixed media abstract paintings and prints, which often compliment the work she does in clay.
As a qualified and proven teacher of art and design, Gale offers a variety of workshops in all media at the beginner through to master level artists in their field.
